Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized Client Engagement Liaison to serve as a trusted advisor for our pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device clients. This role focuses on maximizing platform adoption, identifying expansion opportunities, and evolving client relationships into strategic partnerships that drive sustained value and revenue growth.
Hands-on experience in regulated life sciences environments required. The ideal candidate possesses deep life sciences expertise with proven ability to manage complex client relationships and deliver strategic recommendations that drive decision-making and competitive advantage in the commercial and medical affairs space. Must have demonstrated ability to understand the client's business needs and position SteepRock’s solutions as the optimal approach to achieving the client’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Client Relationship Management
• Act as the primary liaison for post-implementation clients, ensuring ongoing collaboration through regular virtual and on-site check-ins and ongoing business reviews
• Build trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders across client commercial, medical affairs, and research teams
• Proactively identify and present solutions that address clients’ evolving business needs and uncover expansion opportunities
Client Meeting Management • Pre-Meeting: Coordinate logistics and travel, develop agendas, prepare presentations, and submit materials for approval as needed • During Meeting: Capture notes, track action items, contribute recommendations and best practices • Post-Meeting: Consolidate and disseminate notes, manage follow-up on deliverables, document specifications for internal actioning Platform Support & Optimization
• Monitor adoption metrics and identify opportunities for enhanced value delivery
• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with engineering teams for resolution
• Deliver specialized workshops (virtual and on-site) focused on data-driven insights and strategic decision-making
Account Growth & Expansion
• Identify opportunities to expand platform usage by connecting capabilities to strategic client needs
• Apply analytical methods to interpret data and generate actionable insights
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to position additional solutions and features
• Document client success stories demonstrating ROI to support renewals and expansion
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree required; business administration, marketing, or medical sciences preferred
• 5+ years in SaaS client success, account management, or sales operations for biopharmaceutical enterprises
• Experience supporting biopharma commercial, marketing, or medical affairs teams with business intelligence solutions a must
• Knowledge of field-based sales, information systems management, or medical affairs within the biopharmaceutical/medical device industry
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 40% of the time
Technical Skills
• Strong communication skills for presenting insights to executives and stakeholders
• Proficiency with current AI chatbots and LLMs, Microsoft Office and Google Workplace
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Veeva CRM, and life sciences CRM systems and mainstream BI tools

Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 (commensurate with experience)Benefits: 401(k), 401(k) match, health insurance, health savings account, paid time off
